Originally recorded in the summer of 2006, Mario Ajero talks with Kimberly Dreisbach about some of the benefits of piano teachers and students playing duets. He also plays some duets with Kimberly and his student, Shawn Chambers, from a series called "In Recital: Duets" edited by Helen Marlais. As I approach the end of the semester here, time is really tight to produce any new episodes of The Piano Podcast. So I've decided to go into "re-run" mode for a little bit and upload some of my old episodes that I had not uploaded to blip.tv. I hope you stay subscribed as I have some fresh new episodes planned for this summer. Here's a performance of me playing the first movement of Aaron Copland's Piano Sonata.
